THERE have been three new coronavirus related deaths recorded at Worcestershire's hospitals today, according to official statistics.

The latest NHS England daily figures (Tuesday, March 2) show there have been three new deaths recorded in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, with its total now at 767 and no new deaths at the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, and its total remains at 61.

In total, there have been 828 Covid-19 deaths in county hospitals and at least 1,264 in all settings.

The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The Health and Care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
