AN ELDERLY man has been struck by a hit-and-run driver suffering "serious injuries".
Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision, which happened at around 5.30pm on Abbey Road in Malvern on January 27.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "A man in his seventies was struck by a vehicle and the driver failed to stop.
"The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to his leg and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital where he currently remains in a stable condition.
"Any passers-by, or motorists who had driven down the road around the time of the incident, are urged to come forward."
