A 34-year-old man accused of assaults on two emergency workers in Worcester and a teen accused of an arson attack in Evesham are among the cases due to be heard today.

Richard Davis, due to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court this morning, is charged with assaulting two police officer in Worcester on December 29 last year.

Kieron Sheridan, 18, of Desjardins Way, Pershore, is due to appear charged with arson with intent to endanger life. The alleged offence is said to have taken place at Forest Gate, Evesham on June 18, 2019.

Rupert China, 54, of Swinyard Road, Malvern is charged with drink driving on December 19 last year.

The offence is alleged to have taken place in Pickersleigh Road in Malvern. According to the charge the reading was 67mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, close to twice the legal limit.

Samuel Wykes, 25, of Rye Street, Birtsmorton, near Malvern is charged with drug driving (cocaine) in a Ford Mondeo, failing to stop, careless driving and possession of cannabis on September 7 last year.

Hayley Morris, 55, of The Holloway, Droitwich is due in court this morning for harassment in breach of a restraining order.

At Worcester Crown Court the Redditch murder trial continues following the fatal stabbing of Colton Bryan who was 22 years old.

Adam Carpenter, 21, of Wharrington Hill, Redditch, Faisal Fiaz, 21, of Millsbro Road, Redditch and Mohammed Saddam Hussain, 25, of Oakfield Avenue, Birmingham deny murder and conspiracy to rob following the stabbing shortly after 9.30pm on July 15 last year.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Hammed Hussain, the brother of defendant Mohammed Saddam Hussain, left the country after the stabbing which involved a large hunting knife nine inches long is still being sought by the authorities in connection with Mr Bryan's murder.
