THERE have been eight newly-recorded coronavirus deaths in Worcestershire's hospitals today.
The new deaths now mean there have been 607 deaths in the Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust, up from 599 yesterday.
There were no newly recorded deaths in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, with their total remaining at 48.
Across the country, a further 710 people who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 65,814.
Patients were aged between 25 and 101 years old. All except 33 (aged 28 to 93 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
Date of death ranges from May 27 and January 22 with the majority being on or after January 18.
