It’s veganuary, a national movement and challenge which inspires people to go vegan throughout the month of January.

There are many reasons for deciding to adopt a plant-based diet, whether it be a New Year’s challenge or a complete lifestyle change.

However, just because you are adopting plant-based diet doesn’t mean you have to go without your takeaways.

Here are some fantastic vegan-friendly restaurants and takeaways in Cumbria- all of which are delivering or offering takeaway services during the pandemic.

Zeffirellis and Fellinis, Ambleside

One Tripadvisor user said the vegan food at this restaurant is ‘on point’.

Another wrote: “This place is a must visit.

“We had the stuffed aubergine with giant couscous, tapas starter and summer pudding dessert- with so many vegan options I was spoilt for choice.”

Spaghetti Pomodoro and Pecan and Cashew Nut Wellington are other vegan options on the menu.
