MALVERN Priory is keeping its youngsters busy this month preparing for Christmas with a fun packed video programme for Messy Church, but it is Messy Church with a difference.
Normally held in person, this season's Christmas activities will be online-only.
The theme is ‘A Christmas Journey’ and is accompanied by eleven related crafts, games and activities which can be downloaded from the website.
They include Christmas angels with sequins and stars, the Christmas journey in silhouette, making a star bookmark and following the North Star in the night sky with a homemade map stuck to the window.
Families can also listen to ‘Papa Panov’ - Leo Tolstoy’s story of the old shoemaker meeting Jesus at Christmas.
Resources will be available from Sunday, December 6.
Jill Crofton, one of the organisers, said: "It’s not the same as meeting in person but children have been involved in the filming and we invite everyone to enjoy the special Christmas story, songs and activities on the video."
