FOOTBALL Shirt Friday is here, and people across the country are wearing their team's colours to raise money for the fight against cancer.

The initiative, held in partnership between the Bobby Moore Fund and Cancer Research UK, encourages football fans to wear their favourite shirt, share a selfie and donate £5 to charity to raise awareness of the fight against bowel cancer, which killed the former England captain aged just 51.

So get involved and send us your photos of you in your team's colours, whoever you support.

Today I am wearing my Spartak Moscow shirt (I like to be different), but you don't have to go that obscure.

Businesses across the country are also urged to get involved, with working from home offering the perfect opportunity to dig your football shirts out of the wardrobe to help a good cause.

Donations can be made by visiting, and you can share your shirt selfies on social media with the hashtag #FootballShirtFriday.
