SINCE the Barnards Green Traders are not able to hold the Christmas Extravaganza this year, they have had a look at how they can still raise money for a local charity.

On Friday (October 30) they will begin to sell limited edition “Barnard’s Green Shopper” hession bags.

All proceeds from the sale of these bags will go to Action Deafness with monies being used to support deaf and those with hearing difficulties in Malvern and Worcester.

The bags will be on sale outside Barnard’s Green Post Office from 10am until 2pm and after Friday they will be on sale in The Post Office, The Cheeseboard, Natural Choice, Just So and Cafe in the Green.

The Christmas Quiz will be in the shops along with an advent competition and some retailers joining the Christmas Trail organised by Malvern Town Council.
