THERE has been two newly recorded coronavirus death in the county's hospitals.

The latest NHS England figures show two newly recorded deaths in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust as of October 25

This means there have now been 290 deaths in the trust's hospitals.

There have been no newly recorded deaths in the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, its figure remains at 29.

These figures relate to recorded deaths up to 5pm the previous day and do not necessarily include deaths which happened on that day.

Across the country, a further 76 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 31,819.

Patients were aged between 43 and 100 years old. All except three (aged between 71 and 83) had known underlying health conditions.

Date of death ranges from 28 August to 24 October 2020, with the majority being on or after 21 October.

Their families have been informed.
