THE driver of an overturned car on the A49 in Herefordshire had left the scene before emergency services arrived, fire crews have said.

Leominster Fire Station said two crews were called to Dinmore Hill shortly after midnight on Friday, October 23.

A service spokesperson said the crew was not needed and the incident was left with police officers.

West Midlands Ambulance Service, which was also called, said: "“We were called by an off-duty paramedic who’d come across a single vehicle RTC on Dinmore Hill at 00.13am.

"We sent one ambulance to the scene. However, on arrival no patient was found and the crew were stood down from the scene.”
