FIREFIGHTERS worked through the night to battle a devastating house fire that consumed 75 percent of the property.
The fire in a home in Ombersley required six fire engines from multiple locations to extinguish last night.
Fortunately no-one was harmed in the 'severe' blaze.
A spokesman for the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Services: "Six fire engines, a water carrier and a compressed air foam system pump from Worcester, Wyre Forest, Kidderminster, Leominster, Malvern, Bromsgrove and Ross-on-Wye fire stations, were called at 12:49 on 22 October to a house fire in Boreley Lane, Ombersley.
"It was a severe fire on the first floor and roof of a two-storey detached farm house and 75 percent of the property was affected.
"Three hosereels, three 9m ladders and fours jets were used to fight the fire. Crews accessed the roof space to check for hot spots.
"There were no casualties.
"Relief crews remained overnight and re-inspections will be carried out this afternoon."
