A YELLOW weather warning has been issued in Worcestershire - with a possibility of flash flooding.
Dave Throup, environment agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, shared on Twitter: "Picked the wrong week to be on duty!
"Some very big rainfall totals possible this weekend have the potential to cause significant flooding.
"Not yet possible to predict exact locations yet but our patch may be affected.
"Stay tuned for updates."
This is the weather forecast for this evening and the weekend ahead according to the Met Office.
Tonight:
A largely dry evening with sunny spells. Becoming increasing cloudy and breezy through the night with isolated showers possible. More persistent rain arriving in the south through the early hours, elsewhere showers becoming more frequent. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Friday:
Windy and overcast on Friday with heavy rain in the south to start. The rain moves northwards affecting all areas by midday and lingers through the afternoon although becoming patchier. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Unsettled on Saturday with heavy rain although lighter winds. Remaining unsettled on Sunday with widespread showers. Showers and sunny spells on Monday. Feeling rather cold throughout.
