UK scientists are to give a coronavirus briefing shortly where they are reportedly set to say the country is "heading in the wrong direction".
Professor Chris Whitty, the government's chief medical adviser, believes the country is facing a "very challenging winter period" and will hold a televised briefing outlining how Covid-19 cases have risen sharply.
The briefing comes after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson spent the weekend considering whether to introduce further measures in England, including a possible national lockdown that would act as a "circuit breaker".
But what are your views, would you welcome a second national lockdown?
