A GARAGE in a Redditch cul-de-sac was at risk of collapse after a car careered into it in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Firefighters from Redditch Fire Station were alerted to Aldington Close at 1.47am to reports of a car having crashed into a building.

The vehicle made safe by fire crew but there were fears that the garage was unsafe and might collapse following the smash so Redditch Borough Council and a structural engineer were called out, along with West Mercia Police.
