THERE have been no coronavirus related deaths recorded at Worcestershire hospitals for nine days, NHS figures show.

The latest NHS England daily figures (September 12) show there have been no further deaths in the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, which remains at 279 deaths.

The number of deaths at the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust also remained at 28.

This means there have been 307 recorded deaths in Worcestershire's hospitals and at least 530 in all settings across the county.

The acute hospital trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The health and care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
