MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity is inviting people to take part in the second of its virtual airbase open days.

The latest even, being held on September 13, will see the charity’s Strensham airbase in Worcestershire virtually open its doors for a VIP tour.

The charity’s normal airbase open days were a popular event, but they had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The open days usually annually provide people with entertainment, live crew demos and stalls showcasing the amazing work of all of the region’s lifesaving emergency services provision.

But the online event will still provide a virtual tour of the airbase, a tour of the helicopter aircraft, rapid response vehicle and critical care car and a short aircrew demonstration of how they tend to an incident scene.

The event is free but it is encouraged people donate to an online bucket collection, at justgiving.com/campaign/maaconlinebucketcollection.
