Mum with daughter, 3, saw man 'touching himself' in Worcester park

Their two Carrera bikes - which were locked to a bike rack - were stolen on Wednesday (July 22) afternoon, as well as the lock.

The couple from Worcester parked up at around 2pm and got back at around 3.15pm where they were shocked to discover the bikes and lock had been stolen.

Joshua, aged 16, used his bike to deliver Worcester News newspapers – which he is now having to deliver by foot around the city - and to see his girlfriend every day.

His mother, Laura Russell said: “I’m so angry and Joshua was very angry too.

“My son uses his bike every day for his little job.

“Joshua uses his bike to deliver the Worcester News newspaper so now he’s having to walk.

“Josh has been delivering papers now for around 12 months maybe a little more.

“My son and his poor girlfriend used their bikes every day to meet up.”

One of the stolen Carrera bikes was silver and red, while the other is white

Laura claims she has spotted her son’s bike up for sale on eBay for £265.

She has contacted the seller and she was told that if she can prove the bike belongs to her she can have it returned, however Laura said she binned the receipt.

She said: “Both bikes had the same distinctive marks on them, and I had new parts put on Joshua’s bike a couple of months ago.

“This bike is 100% Joshua’s. Every mark on it is the same - new brakes pads, chain and shank I had done a few weeks back.”

The bike was bought for Joshua as a Christmas present two years ago.

If you saw anything or have any information on the theft, call the police on 101 and quote reference number 22/61214/20.
