BOLTON-BASED firm AO Business has announced its appointment for the new lead of its housebuilding team.

John Farnham has been promoted from national account manager of AO.com's BTB division to take on the role.

After recently growing the housebuilder team, AO Business is looking to transform the way appliances are purchased for new housing developments.

Remaining open for business during the coronavirus crisis, the company has developed relationships with a number of housebuilders.

Being part of a large retail group with its own logistics network has meant that they can continue to deliver to business customers and offer next day delivery and installation proposition.

Before joining AO Business, John Farnham was the national B2B account manager for Samsung UK, and previously contracts account manager at Electrolux.

And now he is relishing the opportunity to make a difference in his elevated position
