ELLESMERE Bowling Club will look to get back into action next month with the running of cup competitions.
Bowling has been available on the green since June 1, but competitions are still yet to take place.
The club is a member of the Oswestry League, but will not take part in competitive fixtures this season with the league being cancelled because of Covid-19.
A spokesman for the club said they are planning to run a men's and women's cup competition, with coronavirus measures in place.
"We will attempt to run the men's and ladies cup," said the spokesman. "This will not be as straightforward as in the past.
"We are still restricted in the number of players on the greens so the competition will be in time slots over a few days.
"The first two Sundays of August will be a great time to run it. Please let us know if you want to enter.
"We can be flexible with games as long as we don't go back into shut down."
