OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses after a Volkswagen vehicle was vandalised.
The incident happened on Halcrow Crescent in Gretna sometime between 6pm on Saturday and 11.45pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Dumfries and Galloway Police Division said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a report that a white coloured Volkswagen Sharan was vandalised, resulting in moderate damage."
"If you saw or heard anything suspicious or have any information in relation to this incident, please call us."
Police had previously put an appeal after power tools were taken from a Scottish Power substation near Lockerbie, sometime between June 18 and 19.
Anyone who saw the incident ring Police Scotland on 101 quoting ref 2460 of June 28.
