A COUNTRY estate in the Malvern Hills is once again welcoming visitors to its gardens following the easing of government lockdown measures.

Little Malvern Court, managed by property consultancy Fisher German, is now opening its gardens on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons until July 23.

Visitor numbers are currently being restricted to ensure that guests are able to comply with social distancing measures, so anyone wanting to take a stroll around the site must now book in advance.

Other safety measures have also been implemented to ensure that the public can visit safely.

Yan Gittins, of Fisher German, said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to re-open Little Malvern Court to members of the public.

"The estate is open just three months of the year, so it is excellent that we are able to welcome visitors back for the end of the 2020 season.

"The house and courtyard tearoom will remain closed, but guests are being welcomed to explore the stunning gardens.

"We have implemented a number of safety measures including a one-way system at pinch points, such as bridges.

"Although normal toilet facilities will not be available, there is a portable loo with hand sanitiser.

"As visitor numbers are limited, we are asking that people book at least 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.”
