Today the Worcester News is launching a new service dedicated to remembering the lives of those family members no longer with us.

It's your chance to tell your loved ones' stories - their lives in words and in pictures.

If you have recently placed a death notice or acknowledgement in the Worcester News or either of our sister titles, the Evesham Journal and Malvern Gazette, and you would like to share the story of your family member, we can help.

All you have to do is contact our community content editor Barry Kinghorn at barry.kinghorn@newsquest.co.uk. He can send you a short form which you can fill in with everything you'd like to tell people about your loved ones. Attach a couple of pictures, preferably including a recent one, return it to Barry, and he'll do the rest.

Not everyone is famous enough to warrant a full page in a national newspaper, but that doesn't mean that stories of everyone else's lives are not worth telling.

Let's take this chance to show how remarkable everyone's story really is.

Today, we've featured the fascinating life of Iris Pinkstone - known as the Pink Imp - a founder member of the Simon de Montfort Society and an expert on Beatrix Potter.
