MALVERN residents are being encouraged to take part in a new 12-week challenge designed to keep minds and bodies active while in isolation.
Malvern Hills District Council's physical activity and wellbeing officer Rachel Nicholls, has developed the "We Beat Corona" challenge which includes activities people can do in their own homes.
She said: "It is natural to feel worried or anxious at the moment and this weekly challenge is designed to support people through this difficult time. The videos are quick and easy to follow and encourage people to stay active and look after their mental health whilst following Government guidelines."
Based on each letter of the hashtag #WeBeatCorona, the five minute videos focus on three different areas: the heart, body and mind. They will include different exercises, mindfulness advice and positive things people can do.
