A BUSY Bradford road was closed overnight and into this morning after a multi-car crash. 

It happened on Great Horton Road at around 11.10pm yesterday. 

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said a Ford Focus, two Volkswagen Golfs and a Fiat Punto were involved in the crash. 

He said the Ford Focus was seen by police and failed to stop. 

There was a brief pursuit and the Focus was then involved in a crash with other vehicles.

One person was taken to the Bradford Royal Infirmary and one person went to Leeds General Infirmary.

It's not thought their injuries are life threatening.

One male was arrested from the Focus.

The road was closed in both directions between Crossley Street and All Saints Road.
