YOUR votes have flooded in for our Pub of the Year competition, but there is still time to vote for your favourite.

The winner will be announced in the Gazette on Christmas Eve and the winning landlord will receive a Pub of the Year 2019 trophy, and be invited to the Houses of Parliament by Malvern's MP.

This week the pub in the spotlight is last year's winner, a pub known for its great selection of ales and food, the Wyche Inn.

Steph Daly, landlady of the Wyche Road venue, said they were in shock when they won last year. The landlady said they had enjoyed another great year since the win, and making little improvements at the venue as they go along.

"We are a traditional English pub, family friendly, and we always keep this place clean and tidy for our regulars, and visitors," the landlady said.

Asked what the reaction would be if they won again, she added: "I think we would cry even more tears."

Voting closes on Friday, December 20, so use the slip in this week’s newspaper to name your favourite pub.

Readers can also vote for their favourite pub by email too - just email deb. walton@localiq.co.uk with the subject ‘MALVERN GAZETTE PUB OF THE YEAR: NAME OF THE PUB’ and then, in the body of the email, explain why you have chosen the pub.
