A DEVELOPER building houses at Colwall, near Malvern, has given £6,500 to the village's primary school and cricket club.
Lockley Homes has donated £5,000 to Colwall CE Primary School to help pay for a trim trail, which includes rope swings, climbing ladders and wooden stepping poles.
Meanwhile, Colwall Cricket Club has received £1,500 to buy around 200 T-shirts for its thriving junior section.
Olivia Harriman, of the Friends of Colwall Primary School, said: “I’d like to say a big thank-you to Lockley Homes for funding this new adventure trim trail.
“It’s a wonderful facility that enables children to enjoy physical activity and will be a fantastic new addition to the outdoor provision.”
Kim Berry, chairman of Colwall Cricket Club, said: “We’re very grateful to Lockley Homes for sponsoring our junior T-shirts. We have scores of young children in Colwall who we’re trying to enthuse in the fun and skills of cricket, and it helps make them feel special to have their own club T-shirt.”
Lockley Homes is currently developing Kingsbrooke, a development of ten homes in Colwall.
