BUSINESSES are being asked to help shape the future of tourism across the Malvern Hills district.

Malvern Hills District Council is developing a new Visitor Economy Action Plan to support tourism across the district up until 2025 and is asking businesses to take part in a survey.

The survey will ask questions about the issues businesses are facing, what is important and how the council can support business growth.

In return for taking part in the survey, there will be the chance at the end of the survey to enter a free prize draw to win £50 to spend at Pensons, Malvern’s Michelin star restaurant.

Consultations on the plan will be held as part of the next Tourism Forum, which is on Wednesday, November 20, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at The Fold in Bransford.

Cllr Beverley Nielsen, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “The Malvern Hills district is a thriving hub for tourism and it is so important that we work together with businesses to deliver a high quality experience for our visitors.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to tell us what is important, any issues they may have and how we can support them.”

The deadline for responses is Friday, November 8.
