MEMBERS of the Brexit Party were out and about in the centre of Great Malvern putting out their message to residents and visitors alike.

Among those taking part was Christina Simmonds, the party's prospective parliamentary candidate for the West Worcestershire constituency.

She said: “We had a great day - the only complaint that we had was 'Where have you been until now?'

“As the Malverns and West Worcestershire are a Leave-voting area, many residents were concerned that they had so far only seen Remain campaigners such as the Malverns for Europe group in the area.”

“This has now changed, and we are planning a full programme of events and activities to give voters in the Malverns and West Worcestershire a proper choice in the coming general election.

"After all, Remain voters in West Worcestershire are spoilt for choice - they can vote for the Remain Conservative MP, and they can vote LibDem, Green or even Labour.

"For Leave voters in West Worcestershire, there is only one choice, namely myself and the Brexit Party.”

“My task as the Brexit Party prospective parliamentary candidate is to give a clear and unambiguous voice to the Leave voting majority in West Worcestershire who would otherwise have no voice and simply be ignored and unrepresented by those in power and authority.”

The action day came among the continuing national power struggle over the issue of leaving the European Union, with the country's Supreme Court set to rule on whether Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to prorogue parliament is legal or not.
