WORLD-FAMOUS organist, Keith Hearnshaw will make a return to Great Malvern Priory on August 26, at noon.
Given the resonant location, it is not surprising that Elgar will be on offer.
A spokesman said: "Mr Hearnshaw makes a welcome return to the Priory with one of his entertaining recitals for which he is famous in Europe and the US.
"His concerts are wide and varied and are presented musically and verbally in a style that makes the organ very accessible."
The spokesman added: "Keith’s aim is to promote the art of organ playing and help establish it in its rightful place as 'The King of Instruments'.
"His exciting programme for the Priory includes popular works including arrangements of Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance No 4 and `Nimrod’, Barber’s Adagio for Strings and Saint-Saëns' Organ Symphony as well as Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor. It all, is is perfect entertainment for a Bank Holiday Monday!
