Shied away from Airbnb in the past thinking they were only for stag and hen dos?

The popularity of the online marketplace is sky high, and thanks to gems like these it is easy to see why.

From Sunseeker boats, to an amazing log cabin in the heart of Alum Chine (who knew?), these are just some of the properties which caught our eye.

Suddenly we fancy a staycation...

A luxury three-cabin Sunseeker yacht at Salterns Marina in Poole

£595 per night

This motor yacht is the biggest in the marina and ideal for six guests.

According to the owner, the yacht has a spacious flybridge space with a large u-shaped lounge, where you can soak up the sun or enjoy a glass of wine, or two (or three).

'Georgia' has a master bedroom with a king bed, a VIP room which hosts a queen bed and a third cabin with two single beds.

There are also two lounges with 360-degree panoramic views, plush furnishings and a BOSE sound system. But before you start feeling the wind rush through your hair as you're powering through the waves, you're not allowd to take the boat out. Which is probably wise.

Stay on a classic Sunseeker for the night, Poole.

Prices start from £95 a night

The Business is a classic Sunseeker Mexico 24 powerboat. She is 24ft long and boasts a very well equipped and modern cabin for two.

The host says you're able to enjoy a sundowner in the spacious cockpit area followed by a comfortable and cosy sleep in the cabin.

Again, you're not able to take the boat out on the water. The host offers a 'turn down' service, where the boat is made ready for the night while guests enjoy dinner or drinks at a local restaurant.

A great quirky alternative from a hotel or bed and breakfast for one night.
