THIS year's Malvern Multicolour Fun Run attracted 450 runners to West Malvern on Saturday.
The course this year has been extended to 2.5km, with participants able to choose one, two, three or four laps, making it possible to walk, jog or run 5km for those on a couch to 5k journey or complete a full 10km with the new fourth lap.
The fun run is set in the grounds of Elim International College, with views across Herefordshire to the Black Mountains of Wales.
This year, five per cent of the net profit will be going towards building a new playground for West Malvern’s only school, St James CE Primary School, with the aim of promoting physical activity, team work and mental wellbeing for the the school's children.
Participants in the race pass four paint stations around the course that ensure that everyone ends up covered in biodegradable powder paints, making a unique spectacle by the time the racers have reached the finish line.
