A WOMAN from Malvern has been banned from every Co-op and Marks and Spencer shop in England and Wales.
Susan Smith, aged 26, appeared at Kidderminster Court today (Monday), where she was issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order in connection with thefts from a number of shops, and with anti-social behaviour.
The order was applied for after Smith, of Geraldine Road, Barnards Green, was sentenced to four months and two weeks in prison for a number of thefts at an earlier hearing on January 24.
At today's hearing, Smith appeared via video link from prison. The order will be in place for three years.
As well as banning her from the two retail chains, the order forbids Smith from:
*Shouting and swearing or being verbally abusive towards others, or within the hearing of others, who are caused or likely to be caused, alarm, harassment or distress;
*Behaving in an aggressive, threatening or intimidating manner towards others or within the hearing of others who are caused or likely to be caused alarm harassment or distress;
*Associating in any public place with a named individual;
*Entering the area of Lowesmoor, Worcester.
Smith is also required to attend an appointment for an assessment to be made of her alcohol misuse.
If she breaches this order, she could be arrested.
