MALVERN Town manager Paul Molloy insists his team need to start picking up points - and he's not bothered how they do it.

The Langland Stadium side are rooted to the bottom of Southern League Division One Midlands without a point to show for their efforts from five games.

Their only victory came in the FA Cup earlier this month but they are out of that competition now after losing 4-0 at Halesowen Town in last Saturday's first qualifying round.

But Molloy says his players remain upbeat as they prepare to host Bedworth United tomorrow (3pm).

He said: "Confidence is not too bad, we are still pretty flamboyant. We haven't been playing that badly, we just haven't been getting the results.

"It doesn't matter how we play now, we need to start picking up the points whether goals go in off someone's elbow or backside.

"A couple of wins can push you up the table as we have seen with Worcester City.

"We have got to start a run going now and pick up some points, it doesn't matter how we play."

Karl Smith continues to sit out through suspension but fellow central defender Steve Howe returns from a ban to take his place in the side.

But Molloy added of the FA Cup loss: "We did alright for 60 minutes on Saturday, there wasn't a lot between us, but as soon as they got their second goal our heads dropped."
