LEDBURY’s under nines made a superb start to life in contact rugby with two victories over Bromyard.

In the opening game Griff Bubb, Max Seager and Tom Rogers crossed the whitewash while several players put in big tackles in the first half.

Quick passing from Rolinson and illusive running from Oscar Shotton left Bromyard chasing shadows as the Ledbury tries came in quick succession to secure a 12-3 win.

Bromyard started strongly in match two as they cancelled out a try from Bubb before Ben Mitchell took a fine interception and along with strong running from Lucas Dutton Ledbury regained the lead.

Brave tackles were going in as Seager ran in a try before he tore to score his second.

Ledbury found their mojo in the final five minutes with a series of nippy runs from Shotton and Henry Richie to clinch a 10-5 victory.
