MALVERN Town welcome Derbyshire side Glossop North End (3.00) to Langland Stadium tomorrow (Saturday) in the preliminary round of the FA Cup.

Glossop play in the North West Counties Division One and, like Malvern, have not made the best of starts to their season losing four of their first five league matches.

The Town have lost all four of their Southern League Division One Midlands so far and they go into the cup clash on the back of a 1-0 defeat at Leighton Town on Monday described by manager Paul Molloy as awful'.

Although the manager would rather play a league game, he admits any sort of victory will do at the moment.

Molloy said: "It would be nice just to get a win. The FA Cup is a bit of a distraction but everybody is still so down about the league, we have got a lot to do.

"We are hoping to win on Saturday and hopefully that will kick-start our season. We were awful on Monday, the worst I have ever seen us play."

The tie winners are away to Halesowen Town (3.00) on September 15.

Glossop North End return to Langland Stadium next Saturday (September 8) to play Pershore Town in the FA Vase.
