MALVERN student Amy Phillips will be marking her 16th birthday on Saturday, July 14, with a skydive.
Amy, who is currently doing her exams at the Chase, is taking the plunge in aid of the charity Arthritis Research UK.
Her brother Sam Phillips said: "Amy has suffered with juvenile arthritis since she was six years old, which has meant countless visits to various hospitals and weekly steroid injections. It has been a really long and painful journey for her which is still ongoing."
In the run-up to her sky-dive, she has organised a mixed-pairs charity darts night at Malvern Town Football Club on Friday, June 22, starting at 7pm.
