A CRASH brought traffic to a standstill on a motorway.
Four cars were involved in the crash and a woman in her 80s was treated for neck and hip pain.
The crash happened between junctions five and six on the M5 northbound.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene after receiving a report at 1.15pm today.
Paramedics arrived at the incident at 1.23pm and assessed seven patients in total.
Two fire crews from Worcester, and one from Droitwich, also responded to the crash.
Fire engines were used to block the lanes of the carriageway and traffic was held back between junctions five and six.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at 1.57pm and all of the motorway lanes were reopened by 4.30pm.
