POLICE are warning shoppers to beware after two purses were stolen at Malvern Retail Park on Thursday.

One of the thefts took place on Morrisons, the other at Marks and Spencer, both at around four pm. Both purses were believed to have been taken out of ladies' bags while they shopped.

A police spokesman said: "while shopping, always keep your bag with you at all times, ensuring that it is closed, and also be aware of those that are around you."
