CUB Scouts from the Malvern district were among 150,000 cubs from all over the country who recently celebrated the movement's 100th birthday.
The Malverns district group, which includes packs from Malvern, Leigh, Ledbury, Bosbury and Upton, met at Malvern Vale and then marched to Dyson Perrins CE Academy while displaying pack totem poles.
It was here that the real celebration got under way as the cubs met to celebrate and where, at precisely 7.16pm, led by Ryan Heath, district cub leader, all renewed their Cub Scout promise and sang Happy Birthday.
This was followed by a party with entertainment provided by Alex of DNA Kids and a birthday cake.
Malvern District Scouts would like to thank Dyson Perrins for offering its facilities when the previous venue let them down and Element Materials Technology for lending their car park as a meeting point.
