THE last meeting listened to Mike Sharpe who presented an interesting talk on The History of Genealogy which described the journey from heraldry to present day online family history.
The next meeting on 7 December will welcome another visit from Anthony Collis who gives another of his entertaining presentations on Worcestershire Worthies. An insight into all the famous people who hail from the county.
Doors open at 7pm. Refreshments are available. New members and visitors are welcome. Please note: the entrance is via the side carpark in Yates Hay Road. Look out for way pointers.
A competition was held recently by Worcester Local History Forum to find which local Society produced a prize winning magazine. Malvern Family History Society produce a quarterly magazine "Tree Tappers" . Having won the competition previously entered and this time were runners up. Congratulations to our editor Ruth Casemore
