NIGHT skies will be lit up with bursts of colour as spectacular firework displays take place across Worcestershire.

Crowds will gather, wrapped up warm against the cold, to enjoy sparkling shows and crackling bonfires at sports fields, pub gardens, museum grounds and Sixways Stadium in Worcester on Saturday.

Entertainment is set to go off with a bang at the 50th anniversary Worcester Round Table display at Pitchcroft, which opens to the public at 4.30pm.

Brickfields Fireworks, Brickfields Park, Worcester

Gates open at 5pm, until 8pm.

The firework display returns this year with a spectacular array of entertainment. The Mayor of Worcester will get the party started, before the dazzling firework display. There will be performances from a host of local dancers, singers and karate students.

Norton Cricket Ground, Firework Extravaganza to Music

The magnificent firework display will be accompanied by festive treats, including toffee appeals, candy floss and glow sticks.

Advance tickets cost £4 for adults and £2.50 for children, or £5 for adults and £3.50 for children on the night. Under fours are free.

Avoncroft Museum, Stoke Heath

Gates open at 2pm, until 6pm.

A bonfire night without the bangs and whizzes. Visitors can make a lantern, help build the Guy, and take part in a glowing procession up to the bonfire. There will be a barbecue, music and Guy Fawkes will be sneaking about.

The Old Bush, Callow End, Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 7.15pm.

A fantastic fireworks display and bonfire event, including a pig roast and barbecue for hungry revellers.

Worcester Round Table Charity Bonfire and Fireworks, Pitchcroft

Gates open at 4.30pm, bonfire lit at 6.15pm and fireworks at 7.30pm.

Fairground rides and delicious local food provide the backdrop for the hotly-anticipated 50th anniversary display.

Tickets £5 for adults, £2 for children, £12 for family ticket.

Evesham Town Council Bonfire and Fireworks, Corporation Meadow

Bonfire lit at 6.45pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.

A glittering pyrotechnic display will be topped off with a bonfire, food stalls and children's rides at this yearly event in aid of Wallace House Community Centre.

Fireworks at Sixways Stadium, Worcester
