THE September meeting listened to a talk given by Bruce Johns called The Dancer and the Drum and told of his exploration of a family, a place and himself. It gave us an unusual view of the research of a family tree.
The speaker at the next meeting on 5 October, will be Max Keen who will give a talk which asks the question - Alfred the Great: was he a fortunate king? Max gives his talks in period costume.
Doors open at 7pm. Refreshments are available. New members and visitors are welcome. Please note: the entrance is via the side carpark in Yates Hay Road. Look out for way pointers.
All details on the Society can be found at www.mfhs.org.uk. The Society meets on the first Wednesday of the month in the Drama Studio, Dyson Perrins CofE Academy, Yates Hay Road, Malvern WR14 1WD.
