GEORGIA Mucklow of Cradley and Lily Page of Malvern Link, both aged 14, have gained places to study full time at Birmingham's premier performing arts school, Birmingham Ormiston Academy.
They had to battle thousands of others hopefuls in gruelling day-long audition (which included academic tests) last February to win one of thirty places in their categories. Georgia will be studying musical theatre and Lily will be studying dance, alongside their academic GCSEs.
Both girls and their families are extremely excited about their future training despite a future of very early morning starts and tiring commutes.
Kate Mucklow, Georgia's mum, said: "It's a big decision to up sticks aged 14 and start all over again at a new school, so we're
pleased that initially at least they've got each other. They started dance classes together aged two, many years ago at Cecilia Hall in Malvern."
