MILITARY and Public Services students at Heart of Worcestershire College are well on their way to demonstrating their “vest” behaviour thanks to a kind donation from Safeguard.

As an international manufacturer and distributor of body armour, Safeguard has kindly given the College a sample bullet resistant vest, to help give public services students a real idea of the equipment they could be using in their careers.

The vest will allow for role-play and detailed technical analysis for the students as well as providing an innovative new way to learn.

Speaking about Safeguard’s gesture, CRQ Leader for Sport and Military & Public Services, Judd Doughty said:

“The vest has already been put to good use in class and will continue to be useful to our students as they investigate further aspects of the public services.

Donations like these allow us to provide our students with hands-on learning experiences, furthering their education through first-hand technical analysis and industry standard information. We’re very grateful to Safeguard for this kind donation.”
