THE central theme for the January meeting of the Welland Art and Crafts Group was producing items for charity. Members all brought balls of wool, knitting needles and crochet hooks to make squares for blankets, teddy bears, and clothing items for premature babies. It was a very satisfying evening and a very productive one.
The next meeting of the Group is on Friday, February 12 at 7.30pm in Welland Parish Hall when the subject is "The Making of a Painting" with Louise Pilditch. Visitors are always welcome.
