THE members of the Hot Peppers WI had a very successful weekend at the Sunshine Festival. Cakes and beverages were much welcomed by many people, many who had returned to the marquee following their visit last year.
Now, as this is the Centenary year of the National Federation of Womens' Institute, Hot Peppers has decided to do something different - "Calendar Guys". Hubbies, Partners and friends have been photographed, rather scantily clad, and a calendar has been produced. All proceeds are to go to charity and as the Upton Surgery at Tunnel Hill is to be a beneficiary, they are holding a Launch Party at the Surgery on Wednesday, September 16 at 7pm. Do come along and see "you never know who" on the 12 months of the year. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 23 at the Fire Station and will be "Cake Decorating."
