ONE of Upton's fallen heroes who died in the First World War was honoured during a remembrance service in the town.
Members of Upton in Bloom have been commemorating the soldiers who died in the war, on the 100 year anniversary of their deaths.
On Monday, members of Upton in Bloom paid their respects to private Joseph Sims White, of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
The son of Mr and Mrs John White, formerly of Backfields, Upton, Joseph was killed in action on August 24, 1915, in France and Flanders.
