Firefighters attend incidents in Worcester and Malvern
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a field fire in Worcester yesterday evening (Monday, August 3).
An area sized 30m by 10m was "well alight" but a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester put out the fire using beaters and an off-road vehicle.
The incident took place in Oldbury Road at 8.45pm.
Meanwhile in Malvern 10 metres of conifer hedgerow caught fire in Church Road at 7.23pm.
Firefighters put out the flames but could not prevent a BT pole being damaged.
