Local man Robert Greening (39) has been growing his hair since his teens.

But with his wedding on the horizon he decided to have 'the chop' last Friday (the 26th June).

He used the opportunity to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust, a wonderful charity who provide real hair wigs to children who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. The response was fantastic and he raised over £1,000 for the charity. The haircut was kindly hosted by the Brewery in ledbury where Lisa Beavan, Manager of Janets hair salon (along with some help from Roberts 6 year old daughter) generously cut Roberts long locks free of charge. There was a fantastic turnout and the haircut was followed by music from 'Nice n sleazy' (the band Robert fronts). A great time was had by all and Roberts Fiancé and two children (Lily and Charlie) as well as countless friends are very proud of him. Donations are still coming in thick and fast.
