THE dates for the Car-Boots are June 7, 21 and 28, July 5, 12 and 19, August 2, 9 and 16.
August 23 and 30 are reserved dates and there will be no car-boots on June 14 (Three Counties Weekend) and July 26 (Welland Steam Fair). All dates are Sundays, of course and start at 9am. They will be at usual venue and all are asked to park responsibly and obey the marshals.
As part of the Citizens Advice Bureau initiative to reach rural areas Neville and Liz Mills will be your Local Community Volunteers for Welland and Castle Morton, and will be available at St James church Welland during the Tuesday morning Just Clobber Sales to answer questions, provide support, or refer problems to the CAB Malvern office.
Fridays in St James' Church is Coffee & Cha'. At a loose end? Feel like some company? Why not drop in any time between 10.30am and noon. Bring a friend, bring your knitting or just bring yourself! All welcome
Welland Juniors FC are looking for girls in years 7 and 8 to join in the development of their exciting brand new u13’s Girls Team. The next Kids’ Klobber Sale is on Saturday, May 16 at Welland Village Hall from 11am to around 12.30pm. Phone Jo Horrobin on (01684) 310256 to book a table. The hall is packed with tables of good quality nearly new babies and children's clothes and toys together with a stall selling home made cakes. Refreshments are available.
